Not a snapshot, not an ID photo, not a mug shot…but a “wear-something-nice, sit down, comb your hair” proper formal portrait suitable for framing. You may have a special occasion that warrants a formal painting…maybe an engagement or a promotion, or a birthday…or you may want a portrait to give to someone special.

You don’t have to wait for a special occasion, though, and you don’t have to spend a lot of time or money either. Paint Your Life will commission a talented and experienced artist to create a painting from a photo of your choice.

Do you want an oil painting portrait of you dressed in your best and wearing an engaging smile? Then dress up and ask a friend to take a lot of digital photographs until you get the perfect shot. Don’t worry if the background is not ideal; you can have our artist paint a neutral background in whatever color you choose. Pick a sharp, well-lit photo. Our editors will optimize the quality (no extra charge) before we turn it over to one of our artists who specializes in oil portraits, and before we ship the portrait you’ll get a change to view it. If you have any alterations we will make them.
