Artists have favorite subjects to paint just as photographers favor certain subjects to photograph. Our artists are chosen for their skills and experience in executing portraits in a particular media, such as oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastels, charcoal, or pencil. Whatever their specialty, every one of them is pleased when they are assigned a pet painting.
We at Paint Your Life receive many orders for pet painting portraits of every kind of animal you could imagine. Our photo stylists work with our clients to optimize each animal photo, even altering backgrounds or combining two photos to create one ideal image. When the final image has been approved by the client we assign an artist to paint it in the art media chosen. The client gets another opportunity to view the final portrait on line and approve it before it is shipped. If something needs altering our artist will change it until the client is satisfied.
Because a pet painting freezes a moment in time our artists try to create the most natural expression and lifelike textures and colors so the personality of the pet is captured.
