 |
Your intention to paint a portrait, irrespective of the genre or whether or not it includes nature, people or abstraction, is something that you have to plan for, but let’s face it, few of are really that talented with painting. So, you need to allow our artists to help you. Just as anything else, there is a criteria that they will follow and in so doing, the end result will be a creation that you can be proud of. Finding someone to paint a picture of something that used to inhibit a lot of people from wanting to get their portrait painted in the first place. The hours of sitting still in a quiet setting, free from distractions were not something that many people fancied, but those days are largely gone, unless you can’t find a camera, that is. Once you have found the right person for your portrait, it is now up to you, the budding artist to select a background that is going to be idea for the painting you are going to create by snapping the photo. After all, the right ambiance makes or breaks the painting, or photo. Choose something that has atmosphere and not the drab black or white backgrounds. When you’ve done that, position the person no closer than three feet from the back ground and use a tripod for your camera so that there will be no movement and no blurred photo. Being able to paint the good portrait is in part, owing to the astute eye of the photographer whose picture is going to be the subject. Ensuring the right angle to the subject and away from the sun is one of those essentials that you have to pay attention to so as not to get a blinding light destroying what is otherwise a good picture. Shutter speed too permits a certain volume of light to the film so check that against the measure of light that exists in your atmosphere. So, when you finally upload that photo to us, the chances are that the artist that finally does your portrait painting will create a work that is beyond your wildest dreams! Portrait Art
