The gift was a birthday surprise for my best friend. The painting was of her and her late mother who unexpectedly passed away in December 2013. Her brother and my family members also contributed to paying for the oil painting. The portraiture artist did an excellent job of capturing the special love between my best friend and her mother. Thank you for the beautiful artwork, and I highly recommend Paint Your Life to anyone!

As an only child, Nina was spoiled rotten by her grandparents. Unfortunately, she lost her grandfather, also known as pop pop shortly, after entering adulthood. She spoke very highly of him and expressed how much he influenced her life. Recently Nina reminisced about her childhood and the great times she had with her grandfather. She didn`t say much at that moment, but I could feel that she felt something missing. He never got the chance to meet his great-granddaughter as I know Nina would have wanted. There was no special occasion for this painting. This was an unspoken prayer answered. There was no special occasion for this painting. This was an unspoken prayer answered.

"I had a photo taken of my cousin and her new husband at their wedding that they knew nothing about. I had it turned into a beautiful painting and I was absolutely stunned by the amazing job the artist did to bring this photo to life. My cousin and her husband didn’t believe it wasn’t an actual photo at first because the detail was so lifelike. This is the third painting I’ve ordered from paint your life and I’ll continue to use them. You truly capture the mood and personalities of each subject in every painting I’ve had done and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you to the artists that create these masterpieces. I’m actually in the process of having you work on my fourth, being the beloved dog that I just lost less than a week ago to cancer. I have no doubt you’ll capture how perfect he truly was in your work of art to soon be created in his memory. "

The person opening the painting is a lifelong family friend, Susan. She was our childhood babysitter. Her mom, Billie, is sitting next to her. We consider them family. Susan’s dad (Billie’s husband), Ben, passed away a year ago. We all loved him so very much but Susan and Ben’s bond was a very strong father/daughter relationship. It broke her when he passed. The picture we had painted for her was her favorite picture of the two of them. She opened it on the one-year anniversary of his passing.
