Paula’s family quips that she was “born with a paintbrush,” because she began to draw before walking and talking. From early childhood, she learned to build a composition and confidently apply lines. Her mother, an art teacher, always drew something at home, and Paula copied everything in miniature. In adulthood, she decided to devote her life to art. Initially specializing as a ceramist, she pivoted to monumental and decorative painting. In particular, Paula began to paint portraits for commission at age 15, and since then has fallen in love with this form of artistic expression. Overall, Paula believes that art makes people kinder, sensitive, and spiritually rich.
