Maria began to draw in early childhood. She is extremely grateful to her parents, who supported her hobby, always looking for ways to contribute to developing her talent. Maria went on to study at an arts high school, graduating with a degree in decorative painting. She draws creative inspiration from nature in its various forms, light, shades, sounds, and rhythms.

"My pap passed away in 2011, and my grandma passed away in 2014. My niece was born in 2016, my nephew in 2019, and my son was born last year in 2020. So my grandparents on my mom`s side never got to see their great-grandkids. So this painting really makes it seems like they were here and they`ll always be with us. My mom loves it and knows they would`ve loved all three of them. We miss them very much."
