Adam Rom

Adam Rom

Adam began drawing while in elementary school, specifically admiring Leonardo da Vinci’s work. At age twelve he entered an art school, studying under the tutelage of his beloved mentor, and graduating with honors. In 1998, he entered the Pedagogical Institute. After a few semesters, he wanted to transfer to an art college but was not accepted because he didn’t have enough credits to make the move. Nonetheless, he did not give up, and soon afterward, he was admitted to the art college. At this school, he was fortunate to study with some of the greatest artists of that time. He graduated with honors. From 2004 to 2005, he did military service, where he managed to continue his artwork, painting on commission from his military unit. He also made copies of portraits and paintings by Ilya Repin, who to this day inspires his work greatly. At present, Adam tends toward Renaissance-style painting. Besides being an avid painter, Adam is also a guitarist and songwriter, and is currently involved in a musical and poetic project with a famous writer.
