I purchased a painting that combined two separate photos of my grandparents on both my maternal and paternal side. When all my grandparents were alive, they never took a picture together that was just the four of them. I gave the painting to my parents for Christmas and their reactions were filled with so much joy and tears. When my grandmother passed, my daughter Aubrey (8yo) was 2 months old then and never got to meet her. Of course, Nalani was just born and she never got to meet her either. I wanted to give something special to my mother with the 2 grandkids my grandmother never got to meet. Touching moment when we finally gave it to her. I ordered my painting for my fiance and the father of our child. It was the first time he got to do skin to skin and hold her while she was in the NICU. This was an engagement gift and he absolutely loves it. We actually just ordered a second one to put up on the wall together. He absolutely loves it!
