My husband never knew his biological father. A few months ago we got him the ancestry DNA and found his paternal side. Unfortunately, his dad died in 2000, but the family was close to where we live and grew up right where my husband lived. Long story short, we`ve gotten close to his father`s side, and I asked one of his aunts for some pictures of his dad, there weren`t many but paint your life Got it done! Our beautiful daughter Amanda passed away in a vehicle accident in November of 2019 at the young age of 22. She was on her way to school. These last several months have been extremely difficult for our family and holidays feel completely empty. This first Mother’s Day for my wife Nellie would prove to be the most difficult thus far. My son and oldest daughter wanted to give her a gift that would encompass her unique and beautiful relationship with our baby girl. The picture that was used for this portrait captured them having a good time trying on makeup and making their best attempts at being supermodels. Thank you for allowing her to receive something. That she will cherish for the rest of her life.

My daughters' father passed away 2 years ago in late April. One week before her prom and 3 weeks before her Graduation. The day of her ceremony she cried, I assured her daddy was there. He wouldn`t miss his only baby girl and only child`s graduation and he was very proud of her. He was taken too soon from us, but he will always live in our hearts and our memories. Thank you @paintyourlife for making this happen for me. Now she can see what I promised her for the rest of her life. That daddy will always be there.

I wanted to do something special for my niece who’s graduating high school this year. I wanted something meaningful and something she could have forever. In her painting, artist Anne, captured every detail and every ounce of love that my niece shared with her father, who passed away years ago. Two pictures came together into one beautiful piece. The painting is of my niece in her graduation uniform with her father next to her. She loves everything about it & I cannot thank you enough for this beautiful image that we get to keep forever.
