I ordered a painting of my wife and son for my wife`s birthday; she was thrilled with it as she loves art and this is one of her favorite pictures of her with our son. The tears were flowing!

The painting has my wife and her grandmother. The picture was taken at my wife’s cousin`s wedding. Her grandmother passed away two years ago and I wanted to get something for my wife to remember her always. It’s my wife’s favorite picture of her grandmother. So it was the perfect birthday gift. Our leading lady, my mother`s mother, passed a little more than a week before her birthday back in March. She was crazy, funny, loving, and brave. My mother and I loved her more than anyone would know. This was the first Mother`s Day without her and I thought this gift was perfect. It captured her perfectly. So the backstory behind my mom’s big birthday surprise gift. My mom’s mom, my granny, passed back in 2014 from cancer. My mom always says she knows that my granny would have loved to meet her great-grandchildren since she was already so crazy about her grandchildren.
