This is our grandfather Bob. He lost his wife in 2010 she had the opportunity to meet her oldest grandson (pictured middle) but never got to meet the other three. Who are aged 3, 3, and 2, Now he has a picture of his wife with all the grandkids and couldn`t be happier he actually broke down and cried about 30 seconds after the camera stopped rolling, He said this was his best Christmas in 80 years.

My father passed away 8 years ago. He only saw the birth of two of his grandchildren and now my mother has four. We asked Paint Your Life to include him in a rendering of a picture of my mother and her four grandchildren together. She was blown away by the result which we presented to her for her 80th birthday.

We got this portrait for my mother. She has 5 grandkids between my sister and me, and for her 81st birthday, she asked for a picture of her with all of her grandkids. Her birthday was in August, and we tried so many times to get everyone together for a picture...it was hard with the pandemic and with everyone living their lives! In December, she moved into a new apartment, so I had the great idea to create a paint your life portrait, not with just her and the grandkids, but with my sister and me as well! We all gathered at her new apartment on Christmas eve and gave it to her. She loves it so much! This video shows her initial reaction, but she stared at it so long after we gave it to her. In true PaintYouLife fashion, she did cry, but it was after staring at it long after we gave it to her. She said, “This is the best gift you could’ve ever given me”. We are so pleased with the outcome and so grateful to have given my mother a gift she can treasure forever! Thank you, PaintYouLife!!

It’s my mother, Elizabeth Roth’s 75th birthday today. It’s an important one, the first one without her husband of 53 years, and I wanted you all to know that this woman is loved. She is our family’s heart, and daddy was the head. She is our spiritual teacher, our protector, our champion and best friend. She is a woman of incredible strength and inspirational in her determination-her focus, to see the light, joy and Gods blessings where and when they can be found...often in the simple things...birds singing happily, the sun hitting the mountains, the leaves rustling on a tree, a beautiful shade of red (#truestory). I pray daily, that I can become half the woman she is. Her character, her beautiful heart, her steadfast faith, selflessness, and compassion leave me in constant awe. We lost daddy in January of this year, and I promised he would not miss her birthday
