Oh, the tears that flowed this day!! I surprised my parents with an oil painting of both of them, their parents and myself for Christmas. I’ve always wanted them to have a family photo with both sides present and paintyourlife.com made it possible. Although we can never get the 3 of them back we will always have memories of them to hold on to. Truly thankful that I still have my parents and grandmother to create more memories with??. So my dad's Christmas surprise gift finally was delivered yesterday. My dad's mother (my Grandmom ) passed away before I was even born. And my dad always tells me he wishes I had a chance to meet her because she would absolutely adore me. He misses his mom so so much. So I got this painting done by Paintyourlife.com of our family portrait with my Grandmom included as if she took the family portrait with us. He was so happy.

My boyfriend’s mother passed away 13 years ago, less than a month before his oldest was born. The painting was supposed to be a Christmas present but arrived on her birthday!!! I just couldn’t resist giving it to him! Pictured is his mother and our children. Excuse grandma in the background, but I just couldn’t mute her out ??

This Christmas I decided to get my boyfriend an updated painting of him and his grandma, who unexpectedly passed away when he was in middle school. There are so many pictures of them together when my boyfriend was younger, but I wanted to have a picture that showed them together while he was an adult. I have never been so excited or nervous to give anyone a gift, but it was such a special way to end our Christmas night. I have been begging Max to open this present for weeks, so I’m so glad I don’t have to keep it a secret anymore!! We are beyond happy with the amazing job that Paintyourlife.com did!! ????
