Christmas Paintings

The painting is my boyfriend’s Christmas present. It’s of our 2 sons and my boyfriend’s dad who passed away 11 years ago.

Painted for Lindy

It was a Christmas present for my fiancé. He lost his mother when he was a teenager and lost his grandmother almost 5 years ago. The picture of him was from his graduation. He got his doctorate in education 2 years ago. Although his family was there, he was still missing these two very important women in his life. I wanted the painting to represent them being there and being proud of him! It was so worth it all and one of the best Christmas gifts ever!

This painting is of my son, my grandfather, and my late grandmother. She has been gone for 17 years. We got this as a Christmas gift for my grandfather. My grandfather always talks about how my grandmother interacted with me when I was young and how much she would have loved to spend time and do things with my son if she were here.

"My sister and her husband are the most caring and compassionate people I know. She works as a special education teacher at the local elementary school and Matt her husband has helped her raise three beautiful boys. Last winter my brother-in-law Matt lost his mom Gloria and I had heard through the grapevine that he was struggling this Christmas season without her for the first time as she loved this time of year. Brenda is my grandmother who passed on a few years back. She raised my sister when she was younger and shaped her into the amazing mom, wife, sister, daughter, and school teacher she is today. Throughout the years my sister and her husband have taken in my younger brother when he was homeless, walked me down the aisle of my own wedding alongside my brother, dished out thousands of dollars to family members in need and most Importantly she has dedicated her life to educating those young innocent souls of tomorrow. My husband's grandmother passed away a few months after our oldest turned 1, the last pictures that we have of her are from his 1st Birthday, I wanted to do something different for my husband for Christmas this year and get him something that was personal, special, and would mean the world to him. He was very close to his grandmother and took her death pretty hard. So I sent in a picture of his grandmother holding our oldest on his 1st birthday and a picture of myself holding our youngest on his 1st birthday. I had them basically put the two pictures together so that it looked like she was holding the both of them, the finished product was amazing. And to say he LOVED IT is an understatement, he cried like a baby! Mission Accomplished!!
