The painting is of my childhood home. My sister and I gave it to my parents on Christmas morning so they could take it with them after they sell the house.

My sister-in-law always gives the most thoughtful gifts. This year for Christmas, I wanted to give her something that she would cherish forever. I had her favorite wedding photo made into an oil painting! She’s not usually one to get emotional, but she teared up when she saw it. She absolutely loves the painting. I think I won most thoughtful gift this year!

The painting was for my mom. She didn’t have a picture of all of together in something that big. I decided to get something for her like this. I am also in the picture, I am the oldest son she has. (Top left). Everyone on the top row is her children. On the bottom row is all her grandkids currently. I decided to get her the painting for Christmas, but as my work schedule, I had to leave before. So she got it before Christmas!! The video just doesn’t do the Justice. She stared and stared and stared some more with tears going down her face.

After losing her mother, her spouse, and her furbaby, my mother had a major void in her heart. This Christmas Eve I wanted to give her something that she could treasure forever and always look to for comfort. After receiving this portrait in the mail I was so anxious to see her face and reaction. I must say that this moment was truly priceless. I thank you so much for bringing my vision to fruition and blessing my mom with a lifetime of smiles whenever she sees this painting.
