Oh, the tears that flowed this day!! I surprised my parents with an oil painting of both of them, their parents and myself for Christmas. I’ve always wanted them to have a family photo with both sides present and paintyourlife.com made it possible. Although we can never get the 3 of them back we will always have memories of them to hold on to. Truly thankful that I still have my parents and grandmother to create more memories with??. So my dad's Christmas surprise gift finally was delivered yesterday. My dad's mother (my Grandmom ) passed away before I was even born. And my dad always tells me he wishes I had a chance to meet her because she would absolutely adore me. He misses his mom so so much. So I got this painting done by Paintyourlife.com of our family portrait with my Grandmom included as if she took the family portrait with us. He was so happy.

This painting was given to Simone last Christmas. Simone`s mom passed away when she was a teenager. She only has a few 2 or 3 blurry photos of her mom (pictures of pictures that were taken on cell phones). The artist was able to use these photos and create this beautiful painting. This is the first clear view of her mother`s face that she has seen in over 25 years. Simone absolutely loves this painting, and it is now one of her most treasured possessions. At dinner on vacation, She wore a new outfit I bought for her. As she sat talking to her grandmother I saw her sitting there and had to snap a quick picture. I knew right then this HAD to be turned into a portrait. What better time to give it to her than Christmas!

This is a photo of me and my girlfriend. We have been dating since 8th grade and now we are both freshmen in college. This is a Christmas/Valentines' gift. So in the video, I just received the gift and I presented it to my girlfriend, her reaction was priceless. I wanted a way for us to always be together while we’re apart at our different colleges and I chose to gift her with a painting of us to hang in her dorm room. She absolutely loves it and I will always be with her at school.
