Christmas Gifts by PaintYourLife Artists

Christmas Paintings

After my mom lost her father on her birthday on February 9th, 2019 she has always missed him a lot. I wanted to do something nice for her as a Christmas gift and got her a painting of her and my grandpa during their father-daughter dance at her wedding.

"My mother is one of eight children. Because most of their childhood was spent in an orphanage, it was difficult to capture a photo of all of the children with their parents, my grandmother, and grandfather. Unfortunately, both of my grandparents as well as my two uncles have passed away. A full family photo was never captured. Thanks to Paint Your Life, a portrait of all eight children with their parents was made possible. The sentimental value of this piece far outweighs the monetary value and that is demonstrated clearly through my mother`s emotions. The top row is all of the children. From left to right: Uncle Benny, Aunt Jane, Aunt Carole, Aunt Mary, my mother Margie, Aunt Gina, Aunt Jo, and Uncle Angelo. The bottom row is my grandparents: Angel and Louise. The Moreno`s. "

"My older brother passed away in 2014 and it broke my entire family. When I had my son in 2020, I hurt almost just as much to know that my brother and my son would never meet and we’d never have any pictures of them together. When I found Paint Your Life and commissioned a picture of them together, I didn’t expect such a perfect picture to be made or that it would match the image in my head so well! When my mother opened her presents on Christmas and saw this picture, the feelings we all shared that day were so grateful and so heartwarming, I couldn’t have been happier. "

Painted for Heather  Old Town, ME

"My sister and her husband are the most caring and compassionate people I know. She works as a special education teacher at the local elementary school and Matt her husband has helped her raise three beautiful boys. Last winter my brother-in-law Matt lost his mom Gloria and I had heard through the grapevine that he was struggling this Christmas season without her for the first time as she loved this time of year. Brenda is my grandmother who passed on a few years back. She raised my sister when she was younger and shaped her into the amazing mom, wife, sister, daughter, and school teacher she is today. Throughout the years my sister and her husband have taken in my younger brother when he was homeless, walked me down the aisle of my own wedding alongside my brother, dished out thousands of dollars to family members in need and most Importantly she has dedicated her life to educating those young innocent souls of tomorrow.
