My daughter was always close to her grandparents. Sadly they both passed away before she had children and she has said often that she wishes they had been here to meet their great-grandchildren. This painting was created as a reminder to her that though they may not physically be here they are watching over her and are so very proud of the mom she’s become!

Our leading lady, my mother`s mother, passed a little more than a week before her birthday back in March. She was crazy, funny, loving, and brave. My mother and I loved her more than anyone would know. This was the first Mother`s Day without her and I thought this gift was perfect. It captured her perfectly. This gift was for my amazing mom, who lost her mom, my Maw Maw, 8 years ago and it never seems to get any easier for her. My Maw Maw never got to meet two of my four kids, and these kids are my mom`s WORLD. I thought it`d be special to get a portrait of all her favorite people together. She hasn’t stopped looking at it or crying since opening it! THANK YOU to our artist Yolonda, who worked in Oils to make this vision come to life, it was the most INCREDIBLE Mother’s Day gift!
