In November 2019 my great grandmother passed of lung cancer. I delivered my daughter Grace a month later in December of 2019, which would’ve been our 5th generation. A few hours before my great grandmother passed, the last thing she said to me was concerning the baby. My great grandmother was extremely dear to my grandfather, he was her firstborn of 5 children. I found @paintyourlife.com on Facebook and reached out to them about recreating a younger photo of my great grandmother and a recent photo of my daughter, hand-painted to gift to my grandfather for his birthday. My dear sweet mother-in departed this life June 4, 2013. I promised myself I would get a painting made of her since have no pictures of my mother-in-law in our home. When I seen Paint Your Life on Instagram, I knew this would make the perfect Father`s Day gift for my husband.....and I was right!!!!!
