"I bought this painting for my parents. I spent a great deal of time looking through artist`s portfolios for someone who could paint as photo realistic as possible. I found Melissa`s work to be absolutely incredible and eye catching. I submitted the order for a picture of 11 people. It was going to be a very hard task for the artist. I gave my parents the painting for my mom`s birthday last night and everyone in the family was in disbelief that it wasn`t an actual canvas photo. The amount of detail in every centimeter of this painting from the faces to the jeans to the fence in the background is impeccable. I purchased a painting that combined two separate photos of my grandparents on both my maternal and paternal side. When all my grandparents were alive, they never took a picture together that was just the four of them. I gave the painting to my parents for Christmas and their reactions were filled with so much joy and tears.
