The painting was a gift for my husband`s 50th birthday. It’s his maternal & paternal grandfathers. He never had the opportunity to take a picture with both of them together. Or his maternal grandfather as an adult. It meant a lot to him to have the painting done.

My girlfriend, Michelle, lost her grandmother while she was in college. It truly broke her heart as she was very close to her grandmother. Her heart breaks every time she speaks of her grandmother ever even though it’s been over 20 years since she’s passed. Michelle has an 8-year-old son, Mason, whom her grandmother never got a chance to meet. She loves her family so much. Family is love, love is family to her. I was hoping to capture Michelle, Mason, her mom (Jeannette), and grandmother (Ramona) in a family portrait as a 48th birthday/housewarming gift. I wanted the gift to be thoughtful and heartfelt. The artist at Paint Your Life beautifully captured each of them in the perfect family photo. She absolutely loves it. Thank you so much for making her birthday gift so special and perfect.

As an only child, Nina was spoiled rotten by her grandparents. Unfortunately, she lost her grandfather, also known as pop pop shortly, after entering adulthood. She spoke very highly of him and expressed how much he influenced her life. Recently Nina reminisced about her childhood and the great times she had with her grandfather. She didn`t say much at that moment, but I could feel that she felt something missing. He never got the chance to meet his great-granddaughter as I know Nina would have wanted. There was no special occasion for this painting. This was an unspoken prayer answered. There was no special occasion for this painting. This was an unspoken prayer answered.

I ordered this for my sisters` wedding present. Our dad passed away when she was 16 and she so badly wanted him to walk her down the aisle! So my amazing artist painter a pic of her in her wedding dress next to my dad. To say it was perfect is an understatement.
