"My son turns 21 on December 6th. My mother passed away from cancer the same month he was born, on December 28th. We never got the chance to get any photos of them together. I was able to fly from California to Texas so she was able to see & hold him when he was 9 & 10 days old in her hospital room, prior to her going into ICU and passing away shortly after. I am so moved by this painting, and, never really realized how much the three of us look alike- our smiles, noses, and eyes! "

Painted for Bryan  Weddington, NC

"In early 2021 we lost the patriarch of the family. I could see the sadness my dad had for months. Since Father’s Day was approaching, I thought what better way to celebrate his life with a generational portrait of the family. He was a great grandfather, grandfather, father, husband, and brother. In the photo, he is holding his great-grandson for the first and last time alongside his son and grandsons. This portrait will be passed down for generations. "

"It’s my grandfather`s 75th birthday and I wanted to surprise him with a photo of him and his grandmother together. My grandmother passed away 20 years ago and not a day goes by he doesn’t think about her. Then it came to me that I should let paint my life bring this painting to life for my grandfather and they did a wonderful job and as you can see the love it "

"I lost my eldest son, Ryan, to a hit-and-run accident on 9.16.20. She has been caught and currently, we are goo. g through the court process. Ryan had mental illness for more than half of his life. I created an outreach for our homeless, and our mentally ill, and I find g my way to our schools so that I can help other “Ryans” while that is still young. It is called Ryan’s Reach. It`s been so hard reliving Ryan’s last moments and honestly, it took me a week to open my picture as I was so afraid and heartbroken. But I wanted the picture especially for our Christmas photos we are having taken soon, so I mustered up the courage and opened my picture. This artist captured Ryan’s essence, I felt my child in this picture. I am forever grateful ?? "
