My story is for my mum, she had a hard life growing up and she lost her mum and dad about 12 years ago. I wanted to have a painting of my gran and grandad beside my mother

As many of you know by now I and Joe got married a couple of weeks ago, which was the happiest day of our lives. However, it wasn’t as perfect as it could have been because there was one very special person missing. My grandad. My grandad who passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 65 left a huge hole in our hearts when he left us, and on our wedding day we tried everything we could to make him a part of our special day but nothing seemed to work. Thankfully I found this company that does oil paintings of loved ones allowing them to be a part of a picture they weren’t originally part of. This meant I could have an oil painting of my Grandad at my wedding after all. I ordered this as a gift to my mum who was distraught that he couldn’t be there.

My sister just got married this year, 2021. Our dad passed away in 2011 from cancer so he wasn`t there to walk her down the aisle and give her away to her husband like he was for me and our older sister. She was always daddy`s girl so not having him with her on her wedding day was especially hard. I couldn`t think of anything better to give to her as a wedding gift than a portrait of her and our dad like he was right next to her on that special day. This is a painting that will be treasured for life! She loves it!

As an only child, Nina was spoiled rotten by her grandparents. Unfortunately, she lost her grandfather, also known as pop pop shortly, after entering adulthood. She spoke very highly of him and expressed how much he influenced her life. Recently Nina reminisced about her childhood and the great times she had with her grandfather. She didn`t say much at that moment, but I could feel that she felt something missing. He never got the chance to meet his great-granddaughter as I know Nina would have wanted. My Brother, sister, and I decided to give our mother a Valentine’s Day gift she’d cherish forever. After a two-year battle with cervical cancer she passed on and it was one of my family’s biggest losses. This affected us because since I was six (now 24) my grandmother lived with us and helped raise us and make us into the hard-working determined individuals we are. And I am extremely happy with the work you guys all did to make the vision we had into our reality.
