I bought this painting for my wife whose grandfather who she was very close with passed the year before our son was born. It was a perfect Christmas gift, she was blown away. The artist was incredible. Truly the best gift I gave.

Back in 2015, my wife and I had been trying for a baby. We were a few months into trying when we got the tragic news that my wife’s grandmother(Maime) passed away on her mom`s side. Now, my mother-in-law(Temma) was one of six kids and was very close to her parents. A couple of days after her mom’s passing my wife found out she was pregnant. And to add to the miracle it was gonna be a girl. We knew this was God`s gift of life and couldn’t help but put the connection between Maime’s passing and the blessing of life we were about to receive. When I found PaintYourLife, I was jaw-dropped at the detail of every painting. No one in this world would disagree with how much of a saint Temma is. After seeing the amazing work PaintYourLife does and having our second daughter on my birthday last year, we couldn’t help but make this Christmas a special one for the one person who deserves nothing more than the world. The painting is of my grandparents, my mom’s parents, and my children. They have never met, they passed away before they were born. This was a retirement gift for my mom!

Hello, Long story short, My wife and I just made our first year Anniversary 1/FEB/2021. I was trying to be thoughtful and follow the tradition of a first-anniversary gift is a gift made of paper. When we got married, even though it was a very happy time in our lives, one thing that kept coming and making my wife cry was not having “papa” (maternal grandfather) with us who passed away 10 years ago but was a fundamental male figure in her younger years. And more recently, her father “Morris” tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident 3 years ago. The little guy is Mateo, our son of 3 months who we love very much, and of course, it comes up once in a while, she’ll say “I wish my dad were here.” Or “my dad would be thrilled to see Mateo wearing this” etc. so I had the canvas (paper gift) made of the three together.

My wife’s grandfather passed away in 2013 due to cancer. They were extremely close. We had our amazing son last year and she is always saying how grandpa would have loved him. This was the best anniversary gift I could have ever got for my wife. Thank you Paint Your Life.

My mother-in-law lost her mother some years ago. Her mom was so important to her and she does her best to carry on every tradition her mother made. Ever since my daughter was born (her first grandbaby) she has talked all the time about how much she wishes her mom could have met her and how much she would have loved her. This was our way of making that come to life the only way we knew how. She deserved this so much. She said it was the best gift she’s ever received!
