"I submitted a black and white snapshot taken of my parents in 1960, shortly before their wedding. Yolanda of Paint Your Life turned it into a 30 x 30 color oil painting. It was absolutely stunning! I presented it to my daughter and her husband as their wedding gift. There wasn`t a dry eye in the house. The portrait was a lovely memory of my daughter`s grandparents who are no longer with us."

Our parents have passed away, by getting one portrait at a time and working with your wonderful artist Doris their presence is coming back to us. Her work is amazing and she has perfectly captured the spirit of our parents. We have had her paint three and will soon have her complete a fourth. Such amazing talent and such a special gift that we will treasure forever! My husband and I highly recommend Paint Your Life! We are fans for life!

The painting I got for my wife is kind of a heartbreaking one. Our wedding is 11/1/19, but we ended up getting married on 9/6/19 at her mother’s bed side in the CCU unit. Her mom was diagnosed in 2017 with lung cancer. She had part of one removed, went through chemo and radiation and thought she was in the clear. In February she had a pet scan, and in March she was told it came back very aggressive. She tried a new treatment, and unfortunately it did not work. She was happy at the bridal shower on 8/25/19 and everyone was so happy to see her smiling and taking pictures. On Labor Day she was rushed to the hospital and we were told she had 2 weeks to live and would not make the wedding. We decided we would get married, and have Barbara sign our certificate and be the witness. We are still going to have the wedding since it is paid for, but my wife was able to wear the veil her mom bought her and allow her to wipe cake off her face. Everyone that has seen the painting has had tears in their eyes and said it feels like she is still here.
