My boyfriend’s mother passed away 13 years ago, less than a month before his oldest was born. The painting was supposed to be a Christmas present but arrived on her birthday!!! I just couldn’t resist giving it to him! Pictured is his mother and our children. Excuse grandma in the background, but I just couldn’t mute her out ??

In November 2019 my great grandmother passed of lung cancer. I delivered my daughter Grace a month later in December of 2019, which would’ve been our 5th generation. A few hours before my great grandmother passed, the last thing she said to me was concerning the baby. My great grandmother was extremely dear to my grandfather, he was her firstborn of 5 children. My husband was only 5 years old when his mother passed away in a tragic car accident 45 years ago. She was on her way to pick him up from school, but never made it. He doesn’t have any photos of him and her together. We lost two of our fur babies on October 25th, Jeffy and Rocky. We said our goodbyes the day before daddy’s birthday and he was devastated. This is a video of daddy opening his paintings on 11/12/19.
