We got this portrait for my mother. She has 5 grandkids between my sister and me, and for her 81st birthday, she asked for a picture of her with all of her grandkids. Her birthday was in August, and we tried so many times to get everyone together for a picture...it was hard with the pandemic and with everyone living their lives! In December, she moved into a new apartment, so I had the great idea to create a paint your life portrait, not with just her and the grandkids, but with my sister and me as well! We all gathered at her new apartment on Christmas eve and gave it to her. She loves it so much! This video shows her initial reaction, but she stared at it so long after we gave it to her. In true PaintYouLife fashion, she did cry, but it was after staring at it long after we gave it to her. She said, “This is the best gift you could’ve ever given me”. We are so pleased with the outcome and so grateful to have given my mother a gift she can treasure forever! Thank you, PaintYouLife!!

so basically my mom`s parents passed away in 2012/2013. My mom`s father committed suicide on Christmas of 2012 and my grandmother passed on Father’s day of 2013. I felt this was a nice birthday present for my mother.

It was so hard trying to film this, I was crying... Mum was crying It was my Mum's birthday a few weeks ago and I wanted to get her a very special present. 50 years ago my amazing mum gave birth to identical twins at 28 weeks in Sydney, Australia. on Christmas eve 1971 my beautiful sisters gained their angel wings at 2 days old. it's my mum's 70th birthday next month and we had planned to take her to Australia to visit her baby's graves. unfortunately, due to covid, we had to cancel our dream trip. so I wanted to do something special to bring the memories back. I am a realtor buying this painting as a closing gift for my client. My sellers' parents built this home in 1939. She was born and raised in this home, grew up and married her husband and raised her own children in this home, and also had some grandchildren live with her at some point as well. Now at the age of 70 and living her entire life in this home, she has decided to start a new chapter in her life, sell her family home and move into a new house.
