50 years ago my amazing mum gave birth to identical twins at 28 weeks in Sydney, Australia. on Christmas eve 1971 my beautiful sisters gained their angel wings at 2 days old. it's my mum's 70th birthday next month and we had planned to take her to Australia to visit her baby's graves. unfortunately, due to covid, we had to cancel our dream trip. so I wanted to do something special to bring the memories back. "I bought this painting for my parents. I spent a great deal of time looking through artist`s portfolios for someone who could paint as photo realistic as possible. I found Melissa`s work to be absolutely incredible and eye catching. I submitted the order for a picture of 11 people. It was going to be a very hard task for the artist. I gave my parents the painting for my mom`s birthday last night and everyone in the family was in disbelief that it wasn`t an actual canvas photo. The amount of detail in every centimeter of this painting from the faces to the jeans to the fence in the background is impeccable.
