My sons lost their grandfather very early in life almost 17 years ago. They always talk about what life would be like if pop was still here. So I wanted to give them their pop to have as grown young men and thanks to painting your life. I was able to give them the best Christmas gift I ever could.

"My mother`s baby brother passed away back in the summertime of this year from cancer and it was the hardest thing for her because he was her only sibling losing him was a big thing for her, but she absolutely loves it minus the package came damaged but was just a small tear in the back but I was still more happy that the rest of the painting was still intact and she still was able to enjoy it, it’s now hanging in her living room. The four of us girls wanted to do something special for our parents’ 60th wedding anniversary. We wanted a painting of our paternal and maternal grandparents and our children. I sent in photos of them and the artist did an amazing job making it look like they were all together. In reality, our children never met their great-grandparents. The artist was amazing!!!

I decided to order this painting of my great-grandparents as a Christmas gift for my mom. I had never spoken about the idea of a painting of them before so I knew it was going to be very unexpected. Growing up my mom was very close to her grandparents. A little over 10 years ago my great-grandma passed away due to Alzheimer’s and in 2019 my great-grandpa passed away due to old age. I felt this painting would be the perfect gift because she doesn’t have very many photos of them together and this is something that would be hers to keep forever.
