This is my wife and our daughter and her mom. Her mom died 3 years ago, and the following year our daughter was born, so she never got to meet her. Now every holiday she doesn`t get to spend with her mom tears her apart, and the fact they never got the family picture she always wanted never could happen. So, I wanted to create the image of the 3 taking holiday pictures, because it`s something that I know she could cherish for her lifetime.

In this painting Are my girlfriend and her grandmother. My girlfriend`s grandmother raised her for 29 years and this year she passed away from covid 19 by herself at the hospital. So on my first anniversary which is this Sunday, November 22nd I decided to get this painting for her because it means the world to her.

My wife lost her son Josh to a horrible attack. She never got a chance to take a family portrait with him and the rest of her children and grands. My wife got to open her anniversary present today. A little context she has always told me how much going to her grandma`s lake house as a kid was her happiest time and she always loved her grandma so much because she was such a loving lady. Well her grandma Z passed in 1997 way before I was in the picture and certainly before our 3-year-old daughter came into the picture. So the wonderful people at Paintyourlife.com were able to take several pictures of her grandma, our daughter, and the lake house and turn them all into one beautiful painting.

We recently lost our beautiful golden Bella. She was the family pet but she took to my daughter more and they did everything together. We got her because we lost our first Golden, Theo. He brought her into our lives and because of him, we are forever thankful. We have been blessed twice. My daughter was heartbroken for the second time and I thought having this beautiful portrait made would be a nice memory to have. Thank you!
