My husband and I always wanted a family portrait of us with our 4-legged kids. Unfortunately, that never happened. We lost our girl, Angel, 2 years ago and just lost our boy, Buddha, at the beginning of August. When I discovered Paint Your Life, I was ecstatic! I sent several pictures for the artist to choose from. It was very emotional seeing us all together. The process was so easy and the final revision has blown us away! We are caregivers for my 91-year-old Mother. She was very attached to Angel and Buddha. She became emotional seeing us together in this painting, as well!

My wife Shanaye’s mother (Cheryl) passed away in the summer of 2009. She never got to meet her three grandsons. So, for my wife’s birthday, I wanted to give her something she could cherish forever and finally let her nephews meet their grandmother in paint your life portrait This moment we will remember forever as the family did a big reveal to surprise my wife!

This portrait is very sentimental to my husband as his mom recently passed away this year in July unexpectedly. This picture was taken on our wedding day June 9, 2019. He is having a hard time with all “the first” meaning her birthday just passed this month, and I wanted to do something for him since this was the first one she was not here with us anymore. He loves it and I know he will cherish this forever.
