So the backstory behind my mom’s big birthday surprise gift. My mom’s mom, my granny, passed back in 2014 from cancer. My mom always says she knows that my granny would have loved to meet her great-grandchildren since she was already so crazy about her grandchildren. My mom adored her mom and absolutely loves her grandchildren. So we decided to get a painting done of them all together in one. @paintyourlifeart did an amazing job making our vision come true.!!! #bigreveal #momsbig50thbirthdaysurprise
Painted for Zendrisha Benton, AR
My mom and my grandfather (her father) were so close to one another. My grandfather ended up getting lung cancer and passing away last year. At the time of his passing, I found out I was pregnant but didn’t tell him or anyone in my family, due to the simple factor of the entire family`s pain and suffering of our major loss. When we finally did tell them about our baby boy, my husband and I decided to name him after my grandfather! My mom has said for my son`s entire 8 months on this earth, “ I wish my dad was here so I could see him hold my first grandson.” And that’s where paint your life made it come alive for her 49th birthday present!

It is my wife’s 28th birthday and I wanted to get here something she could cherish for life her grandpa was her best friend and I wanted to keep his memory alive

It’s my mother, Elizabeth Roth’s 75th birthday today. It’s an important one, the first one without her husband of 53 years, and I wanted you all to know that this woman is loved. She is our family’s heart, and daddy was the head. She is our spiritual teacher, our protector, our champion and best friend. She is a woman of incredible strength and inspirational in her determination-her focus, to see the light, joy and Gods blessings where and when they can be found...often in the simple things...birds singing happily, the sun hitting the mountains, the leaves rustling on a tree, a beautiful shade of red (#truestory). I pray daily, that I can become half the woman she is. Her character, her beautiful heart, her steadfast faith, selflessness, and compassion leave me in constant awe. We lost daddy in January of this year, and I promised he would not miss her birthday

My husbands` father passed when he was 8 yrs old. Here at 42 yrs old, he has a photo together with him. This photo of the two of them means so much to us. This was a birthday gift and we were able to have his 3 brothers here for the reveal as well. Everyone was astonished at the quality and work Anne did. It was an amazing evening. Thank You Paint Your Life!

My dad’s brother, my uncle Ray, passed away almost 9 years ago. They never had any recent picture together so I wanted to do this for my dad. Needless to say he loved it, after just glancing at it he broke down in tears.
