"I ordered this painting for my wife. Her mom unexpectedly passed away one week before Christmas. Their family was never big on taking photos, so for our wedding, I had a photographer take a photo of just them two. The picture that I requested to be painted happened to be the last one ever taken. On May sixth we decided to celebrate her mom's birthday and I wanted to do something special. In the photo are my wife and her mother. It portrays them as they are now, her mom being a guardian angel smiling alongside her daughter. Not just for one last time, but forever. They were the happiest at that moment, and it’s a memory I want to keep always. "

"I met my husband 6 years ago right after his mother passed. We recently got married and I wanted his mother and sister ( who was pregnant during our wedding and couldn`t attend) to be a part of the wedding. He always says she would have loved me if we met. So this allowed us to meet. I wanted to be able to hang his family on the wall of our new home so his mom can always be with us! "
