For my husband, Thomas’s 50th birthday, I wanted to do something special. He has lost both his dad and oldest brother to cancer and misses them both terribly. I wanted to capture his memories of them so he could remember them daily. He knew he was being videotaped so he tried to hold back most of his emotions but there were tears shed. My friend, Jessica, lost her mom to cancer in February 2015. Her son, Quentin was just 9 months old when his grandmother passed away. Once I found Paint Your Life, I knew I wanted to surprise Jess with a picture of her mom and son.
