I was 16 when my grandma passed and 19 when my great-grandma passed, and my sisters are much younger than me. I wanted my mom to have a picture with them as adults or close to it. They would’ve been so proud of where we all are now, no matter the ups and downs. My dad even helped us even though my parents are divorced. "

When he became a grandfather he only managed to show more compassion and love to them. Unfortunately, Craig will never be able to hold his granddaughter (our baby Rainah) and Dakoda has often said how much he wishes Craig could. In the last months of his life, my mom slept on the floor with him because he could no longer make it to his favorite spot on the back of the couch (the spot he is in the painting).
