"My mother is one of eight children. Because most of their childhood was spent in an orphanage, it was difficult to capture a photo of all of the children with their parents, my grandmother, and grandfather. Unfortunately, both of my grandparents as well as my two uncles have passed away. A full family photo was never captured.
