"Mac is a pitbull that my daughter rescued. He was in the system for 5 years, before she adopted him. Mac was full of life and love. One month shy of his 1 year anniversary Mac started to cry from pain. An MRI showed he had prostate cancer that spread to his abdomen and spine. 5 days after what would have been his 8th birthday and 4 days after Christmas we had to send him to doggie heaven. Although we gave him the best year of his life it was still the most heartbreaking thing my daughter had to do. He was her baby and my daughters' world revolved around Mac so I had the painting of him done so he could always be with her."
