I wanted to get a special moment for my wife for Christmas. Our Saint Bernard had died, and she loved him more than anything. I couldn`t wait till Christmas, so I had to give it to her a couple of months early. It just meant too much to her not to surprise her.

"My husband and I always wanted a family portrait of us with our 4-legged kids. Unfortunately, that never happened. We lost our girl, Angel, 2 years ago and just lost our boy, Buddha, at the beginning of August. When I discovered Paint Your Life, I was ecstatic! I sent several pictures for the artist to choose from. It was very emotional seeing us all together. The process was so easy and the final revision has blown us away! We are caregivers for my 91-year-old Mother. She was very attached to Angel and Buddha. She became emotional seeing us together in this painting, as well!

In the last months of his life, my mom slept on the floor with him because he could no longer make it to his favorite spot on the back of the couch (the spot he is in the painting).
