"On February 2, 2021, my mom lost her mother unexpectedly. Watching my mom’s heartache and pain at family get together this year made losing her even harder. The last photo taken of her was on her birthday, with all of her great-grandchildren in her lap as the rest of the family sang “Happy Birthday”. That was the happiest any of the family ever saw her. As the holidays started to inch closer I wanted to get my mom the most meaningful Christmas gift I could give her since this has been by far the hardest year for her. So, I sent the last photo ever taken of I have of her mom at her happiest to be painted into a portrait for her. The day we celebrated our family Christmas, the family and I made sure she was the last one to open her presents so all of the family members can not only watch her reaction but remember how happy she was with her life and how much she loved each and every one of us. "My dad’s best friend and loyal companion, Grizzly, is getting older 8 years old is pretty old for a 135lb Newfoundland. My dad is disabled so this dog is his all-day, everyday loyal companion. Since I know sweet Griz won’t last forever - I wanted to give him a painting that would keep his memory alive long after he has crossed the rainbow bridge. This is my fifth paint your life painting and it remains the best gift to give your loved ones! "

"So her grandfather passed away in 2015, and we got together on 12/16/15 & ever since then it’s been a rollercoaster of emotions every year. So I wanted to do something nice for my queen and our daughter who recently was born on the 5th of September... 2021 & never got to meet him. This creation and opportunity by Mary M. Made it possible for her to be held by her Great Grandfather! So Thankyou again Paint Your Life! It’s always been hard trying to figure out what gifts to get my Girl of 6 years but when I stumble across this page and y’all videos it all made sense and it all was easy to decide on what I was going to get her. This one is an endless memory for us! "

"The woman in the video is my mom and 2 years ago her mom, my grandma, passed away. I just recently had my first kid, Asher, and it would have been my grandma’s first great-grandchild. She always wanted to be a great-grandma and it hurts all of us that she never got the chance to meet Asher or give him love. This painting allows us to see her holding him and giving him her grandma`s love. Like my mom said, he was handpicked by her. This is the best gift I have ever gotten and I am in love with it. "
