"My grandmother passed In 2013. My grandfather has not gone a day without mentioning her and thinking about her..."

Painted for Jane  OMAHA, NE

"My grandmother passed In 2013. My grandfather has not gone a day without mentioning her and thinking about her. He misses her and wishes he could have had more time with her. Since my grandmother passed away I had two other children that are now five and seven years old. Fortunately, she did get to hold my 8-year-old son before she passed. When I go over to my grandfather`s home he mentions how he wishes that my grandmother could have met the grandchildren and how much she would have loved and cherished them. When I was thinking about a gift for him I knew that I wanted something that would be unforgettable and priceless in his eyes. Before Christmas, I asked him if he wanted anything and he told me that he had everything he needed. When I was scrolling through Facebook one day I saw paint your life and I went on the website and I started going through the pictures available and looking at the process. I knew right then and there that this was the perfect gift for my grandfather. Paint your life has not only gone above and beyond my expectations but every day my grandfather looks at the painting and he tells my grandmother good morning and the for the first time in a long time he smiles. Every time I go over there he tells me how much the painting means to him and that no one has ever given him a gift so special. During the whole process, I thought that everything would be difficult and I would not get what I was looking for because I was going to be picky. I wanted everything to be perfect and I stressed and worried it wouldn`t be. I now know that the process was extremely easy and I downloaded several pictures and I also edited several times the paint your life artist was incredibly caring and did everything that I asked. Paint your life went above and beyond for my grandfather and I appreciate them more than they will ever know. "

"Back in 2020, my best friend’s then-boyfriend called me and said “I’m proposing to Maggie on Saturday. Can you be there to take pictures as I do it?” That led to me squatting behind a large, flowery bush, taking creeper pictures of my best friends during one of the most momentous days of their lives. ???? They got married in August 2021 and I was the maid of honor (which really *was* an honor!). Buying them a wedding present wasn’t easy, though… Patrick is a hard person to shop for, since he has a job that involves being sent the newest, coolest gadgets to review! This was no simple “buy a nice blender off of their registry” kind of situation. I didn’t have any ideas for a practical gift, but eventually, I came up with a sentimental gift instead. I had a Paint Your Life artist (Johny!) recreate one of the photos I took on the day of the engagement… and to say that Maggie and Patrick were floored would be an understatement! ?? They repeatedly told me that this is the best gift they’ve ever gotten, and I love that I was able to give them a gift that will one day be a family heirloom. ???? "

"This painting is truly unbelievably remarkable! These two people hold a special place in my heart, unfortunate..."

"This painting is truly unbelievably remarkable! These two people hold a special place in my heart, unfortunately, we lost them too soon. I often tell my kids stories of my grandparents, sadly they will never get to meet or build a relationship with them. I have such great memories and miss them every day. This picture with them and all my kids is somewhat surreal! You made the impossible, possible with such a realistic feel. I just love this so much! I catch myself staring at it each time I walk by. Thank You, Jennifer Malecki "
