Elias U. began to paint at the age of 14 and went on to study at an arts high school. After graduating high school, Elias was keen to teach others about the world of drawing, so she studied art pedagogy. She then became interested in restoration, and pursued a master’s degree in Restoration of Easel and Monumental Painting. Since 1996, she’s been accepting commissions for private orders for the restoration of antiques, icons and easel paintings. She also paints monumental paintings, original portraits, and copies of master portraits. Elias is inspired by other paintings, her family, nature, music and travel.
