Violetta Mik

Violet painted her first portrait - a portrait of her grandfather - when she was only five years old. She did not understand what a portrait was, nor even what it meant to draw. From that moment on, portraying people on paper became her favorite pastime. Violet studied at elementary and art high schools, where she took part in many exhibitions and competitions. After graduation, Violet began working as a professional painter. She loves to paint portraits of people and animals, flowers, and abstracts with oil and acrylic paints. The power of being in the moment is her primary inspiration, allowing her to discard unnecessary thoughts and flow with the process.
