In the painting is my mother who passed 10 years ago and my granddaughter. In the video is my oldest daughter who was extremely close to my mom. She is always talking about how she wishes my mom would have been able to meet her baby. So, I wanted to give her something special for her first Mother’s Day. It was so amazing, I couldn’t wait until Mother’s Day to give it to her

My mom and her special Christmas gift ????: This beautiful portrait is of my beloved Aunt “BooBoo” who was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother. She fought a courageous battle with colon cancer for two years before she gained her Angel Wings to go home in Heaven on November 21, 2019. As much as she is tremendously missed and loved by all of her loved ones on Earth, my siblings and I wanted to do something special for my mom for Christmas. A portrait of BooBoo would be a meaningful gift for my mom as they were more than just sisters by blood, they were the best friends by heart. They did everything together from going on road trips to having sleepovers on weekends to being silly to sharing some gossip to just simply being together. This portrait won’t bring BooBoo back physically, but it is a touching reminder that she is always there spiritually with my mom. Thank you, Anne, for making this beautiful portrait that will be cherished for many years to come. Thank you, Paint Your Life, for making this possible.
