So my dad's Christmas surprise gift finally was delivered yesterday. My dad's mother (my Grandmom ) passed away before I was even born. And my dad always tells me he wishes I had a chance to meet her because she would absolutely adore me. He misses his mom so so much. So I got this painting done by Paintyourlife.com of our family portrait with my Grandmom included as if she took the family portrait with us. He was so happy.
Painted for Breana Edgewater Park, NJ
Oh, the tears that flowed this day!! I surprised my parents with an oil painting of both of them, their parents and myself for Christmas. I’ve always wanted them to have a family photo with both sides present and paintyourlife.com made it possible. Although we can never get the 3 of them back we will always have memories of them to hold on to. Truly thankful that I still have my parents and grandmother to create more memories with??. Big shoutout to the artist Melissa for taking 7 individual pics and bringing my vision to life. #bigreveal
Painted for Stephanie Trotwood, OH
For Christmas (12/25) and my father’s birthday (12/28), I decided to order a memorial oil painting of my father’s late father (2013), mother (2019) and older brother (2019). It’s a way to pay tribute to them all and he can look up at the three of them together forever! ??
Painted for Deborah Dorchester, MA
Both my Mom and Dad now have their Mothers watching over them. This Christmas I wanted to remind them those guardians are very proud. Paint Your Life allowed me to submit four separate photos and create a portrait together. In a year like 2020, we all need our guardian angels close by. This was my parents' reaction.
Painted for Delaney Houston, TX
This is my Christmas gift to my parents. They’ve always wanted a picture of them together with their parents and what better way to gift them with something memorable. All our old pictures and VHS tapes went up in flames when our house burned about 15 years ago so when I saw an ad on FB about paint your life, I knew I found the perfect gift.
Painted for Maria North Las Vegas, NV
My siblings and I decided to gift our parents a painting of our two past dogs and our current dog all together for Christmas! We got our current dog a year after our last passed away. Every day we talk about how much our new dog would’ve loved our two past dogs. To see them all together was breathtaking! The portrait turned out even better than I expected. Absolutely amazing.
