"I had this painting done for my mother for her birthday. The painting is of my grandmother (my mother’s mother) and my daughter. My grandmother passed away last year, Nov 2019, and didn’t get to meet my daughter, which would have been her first great-grandchild. Nor did she get to know I was pregnant. I had struggled for 4 years with infertility and, during that time, endured 9 miscarriages. My grandmother knew about my struggle with getting pregnant and how all I wanted was to be a mom in life before she got sick and cancer took over her body. She declined in health very quickly, within 5 months cancer spread from her lungs to all her major organs, which caused them to all shut down and is what lead to her passing. My grandmother passed on November 12th, 2019, and I conceived on November 17th, 2019, and carried a full-term healthy baby girl to birth. She is now 3 months old, this is my mother’s first grandchild, and we wanted nothing more but to have my grandmother meet and hold our sweet girl, but unfortunately, that was not able to happen, but with this painting, it was possible to see that! The painting turned out amazing and perfect in every way, exceeded every expectation I had. Thank you!"
