My Dad died when I was 8 years old. Not having him here to be a grandfather to my children has always been so heavy on my Mom’s heart. So, for Mother’s Day I had a picture of my dad and two children painted together, so that she now has an image of what he would’ve looked like as their grandpa!

Worked with Paint Your Life to have this wonderful painting created for my wife. Her brother passed away in 2012 and never had the chance to meet my youngest two sons so it was amazing to have a portrait of him together with all of our boys.

This painting is full of loved ones that have passed on! My and siblings I got together and got this painting for our mom for Mother’s Day! In the painting is her dad, husband, 2 sisters, and her Furbaby Marley! It ended up being delivered after Mother’s Day so when it arrived at my home I contacted my siblings and we all popped up one by one to surprise her with this masterpiece!

My mom is one of the most important people in my life. If you know her, you know she always wants to help everyone, is a very friendly and loving person who loves her children and would do anything for them. She is not only beautiful on the outside, but also on the inside. I can’t thank my mom enough for all she has done for me, and I feel like no matter what, I will never be able to pay her back for what she has done for us. If you don’t know, my mom’s parents separated when she was only two years old. She lost touch with him since he went back to El Salvador, his home country. After many years, she tried to look for him and it was very hard since she did not know anyone from her dad’s side of the family. And little did she know, he also was looking for her since she was his first and only child at the time. Years later, she met a family member of his only to find out that he was tragically killed in El Salvador. She never got the chance to meet him grown up. The only picture she has of them together was when she was two years old. I wanted to make it possible that my mom has a memory of them together, now as a grown woman. Thank you to paintmylife.com and their talent artists, I was able to gift my mom a painting of her with her dad. I was so happy to give my mom such a special gift, she even said it was one of the best and beautiful gifts she has ever received. It meant a lot to me that I was able to give my mom something that she will forever treasure in her heart.

my brother was killed in March of this year, one day before his 33rd Birthday when a truck struck him. This was the first birthday he wasn’t here to celebrate with us and this is the first Mother’s Day he isn’t here to celebrate with us, and all the special occasions and holidays he won’t be here to celebrate with us. At least we were able to make my mom smile, even if it’s only for a second. Happy Mother’s Day mommy. We love you very much. Rest easy little brother. Thank you PaintYourLife for making this moment so special! And Thank you To the talented artist Johny for the beautiful work he did.
