The painting is of my childhood home. My sister and I gave it to my parents on Christmas morning so they could take it with them after they sell the house.

This painting was for my mom for Christmas. She was very close to her parents and they are currently in the process of selling their estate. This home holds so many memories for all of us, but especially her. We just wanted to give her a little piece of home to keep with her always. You can see her room window, the flowers my grandma painted, the spot my grandparents would sit outside, and the tree we spread some of my grandparent`s ashes under. Whoever the artist did an incredible job and we are forever grateful for helping keep these memories alive.

I am a realtor buying this painting as a closing gift for my client. My sellers' parents built this home in 1939. She was born and raised in this home, grew up and married her husband and raised her own children in this home, and also had some grandchildren live with her at some point as well. Now at the age of 70 and living her entire life in this home, she has decided to start a new chapter in her life, sell her family home and move into a new house. With this painting, she will forever have a piece of her family home with her.

We are in the Air Force and lived in a small town in England for 3 years. My wife fell in love with the town and was heartbroken when we had to move back to the US. She took a picture of her favorite spot right before we left. She was so proud of the photograph because she is not usually a good photographer. This was the perfect Christmas gift for our first Christmas away from England. Now she will have a piece of England with her wherever we go.
