The painting is of my grandparents, my mom’s parents, and my children. They have never met, they passed away before they were born. This was a retirement gift for my mom!

Hello, Long story short, My wife and I just made our first year Anniversary 1/FEB/2021. I was trying to be thoughtful and follow the tradition of a first-anniversary gift is a gift made of paper. When we got married, even though it was a very happy time in our lives, one thing that kept coming and making my wife cry was not having “papa” (maternal grandfather) with us who passed away 10 years ago but was a fundamental male figure in her younger years. And more recently, her father “Morris” tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident 3 years ago. The little guy is Mateo, our son of 3 months who we love very much, and of course, it comes up once in a while, she’ll say “I wish my dad were here.” Or “my dad would be thrilled to see Mateo wearing this” etc. so I had the canvas (paper gift) made of the three together.

July 20, 2021, was my wife and I 2nd wedding anniversary. When we got married, there were two people who we really wanted to be there. For her, it was her Popo, and for me, it was my Dad. Sadly they both passed away before we even met each other, so we didn`t get a chance to meet the men who impacted both of our lives. On our wedding day, there were two seats saved at the very front of the chapel, and in each seat, there was a portrait of my Dad and her Popo. We know they will be forever in our hearts, and they were at our wedding spiritually. Now we share stories about these men to help each other better understand their importance in our lives. I choose to do this for my wife because I know how much her Pope meant to her, and badly we wanted them to be at our wedding physically. I must say the painting came out to be amazing and made it look as if they took a picture together at our wedding. In the video, you can hear my wife says that it is perfect! Thanks for a wonderful job, and a memory we will cherish forever!

I wanted to find the perfect gift for my parents` 35th anniversary. They only have an old album from their wedding with a handful of photos. I chose one where it was just the 2 of them and decided to get a bigger one made. What better than a painting. Thank you Paint Your Life for the amazing work!
