I gifted my wife a portrait of her father and our son for Christmas. My wife’s father passed away 17 years ago from cancer and never got the chance to celebrate her sweet sixteen, attend her college graduation, walk his daughter down the aisle, or meet our son. In this portrait, our son met his late grandfather and the tears of joy in my wife’s face were worth every penny.
