The turnaround time is influenced by five factors:
1.) Service Speed: Express or Regular
2.) Shipping Speed: Standard or Express(If available for destination)
3.) The medium of your painting
4.) The size of your painting
5.) Revision requests. We provide unlimited revisions free of charge, and your delivery time is based on the day you approve your order.

Our express service allows you to move your order to the front of the Paint Your Life queue and improve your turnaround time for a 15% service charge. Express Shipping shortens the shipping turnaround by a few days. You can choose this service and see the exact shipping time-frames right after approving your painting. Modification of artwork can take anywhere between 1 to 3 days depending on the complexity of your request(s).

Unfortunately, due to the size of our products we are not able to ship artwork to APO, FPO, or PO Boxes.

The safety of your artwork is super important to us! Our shipping team will make sure that your order is safely wrapped in multiple protective layers, hard-shelled in a protective shipping box, and marked “fragile.”

Our paintings vary in cost depending on the size and the number of subjects in the painting.

The most delicate part of each painting is capturing the faces of each subject. These detailed features take time and skill to execute. For this reason, we need to know the number of subjects in the painting, so we can determine the complexity of the painting, and price it accordingly.

You will be asked to pay a 20% downpayment while placing your order. The remaining balance of 80% will be charged only after you approve the final draft of your painting.

We offer 4 payment plans (installments). First is Affirm, which is available for purchases starting at $150 (only for US customers). You can choose it as a source of your payment at the checkout. The procedure is quite simple: The payments are split into 4 interest-free installments paid bi-weekly. For more information regarding Affirm, you can follow the link: https://www.affirm.com/how-it-works A similar option would be Pay in 4 (only for US customers), which offers splitting the amount into 4 interest-free payments via PayPal. This installment plan is for purchases between $30-$600 and only the first payment is covered upfront, just like Zip. We also offer PayPal Credit (only for US customers) which is available for any payment above $99 and is interest-free if paid in full within 6 months. When your painting is finished and confirmed, you will be asked to cover the remaining balance. Before doing so, however, you should apply for PayPal Credit by answering a few quick questions. If your application gets approved, you can choose PayPal Credit as the payment source on our checkout page and complete the final balance in installments. Klarna offers 3 options to split the amount. First would be 4 bi-weekly, interest free, payments, similar to Zip. They also offer an option to finance your purchase and pay over 6-36 months. And lastly, they also offer a buy now, pay later option, which gives you the ability to finalize the purchase and pay 30 days later. By the way, you won't have to finish paying off the installment, in order to have the painting shipped!

3.) Google Pay: Pay with your digital wallet using Android devices.

Yes! You can use different payment methods for your downpayment and your final payment. However, please note that we can only accept a single payment method for your final payment.

We will shoot a video of the artist painting your portrait from the beginning to the end and then, we'll edit it into a 2-minute time-lapse video which will be sent to you via email.

Absolutely! Simply add your desired size while placing your order. Please note that your custom size can't be smaller than 8x10 inches or bigger than 36x48". To calculate the cost of custom-sized artwork, visit this page and apply the size you would like in the “custom-size” field. Then click “apply.”

We offer two standard options:
1.) Rolled - your artwork will be shipped rolled in an art tube.
2.) Gallery wrap - Your artwork will be streched on the canvas and ready to be shipped.
3.) Framed - your artwork will be delivered framed and ready to hang.

No worries, we've got you covered! If your photo is too "heavy" or is of a format that our website doesn't accept, you can continue placing your order and send it as an attachment directly to team@paintyourlife.com. Our team will upload the photo to your order for you.

We want to ensure that you receive the highest-quality painting possible. For faces, our artists need at least 3x3 inches on the canvas/paper to achieve the best level of detail you'll be happy with. An artwork with a canvas/paper smaller than 8x10 inches will give no room to our artists to display clear facial details or background elements.

Yes, you can! And at no extra cost to you ;) When placing your order, you’ll have the opportunity to let us know about any changes you wish to have made to your photo including the background.

Just about any request is possible with our outstanding editing team.
*Please note that our artists will only begin working on your artwork AFTER you’ve approved the digital photo mockup. This process allows you to make sure that your vision is fully understood and implemented before moving forward to painting.

Yes, we can! You can upload (or email) several photographs and we can combine subjects from each photo into a single artwork. Simply give us detailed instructions when placing your order, by using the comment box.

If for some reason, the quality of your photo is too low to be restored, we will refund your downpayment of 20% no questions asked.

If a photo requires restoration, we will do so automatically, before starting your order. If you would like to colorize a black & white photo, just mention it in the comment box during your order process.

*Please note: any details that you can share will help our editors to colorize your photo correctly (for example: "The hair should be blond and the eyes should be blue"). We will send you the colorized photo for approval before continuing. We provide this service at no extra cost to you.

Estimate prices of the Products are shown on the Site and may vary when you place an order depending on the availability of a chosen artist and place of delivery.
