Compilation Portraits In Oil

Compilation Portraits are paintings that were created from several different photos. We first combine all photos digitally into one photo and send you for approval. Only after you approve the final digital photo, we pass it to the artist in order to create the actual painting.

Note: you can hover over the paintings and click 'original photos' to see all the photos that were used for creating the final painting.

However, it wasn’t as perfect as it could have been because there was one very special person missing. My grandad. My grandad who passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 65 left a huge hole in our hearts when he left us, and on our wedding day we tried everything we could to make him a part of our special day but nothing seemed to work. This meant I could have an oil painting of my Grandad at my wedding after all. I ordered this as a gift to my mum who was distraught that he couldn’t be there.

My great nan was the glue that held this family together. Unfortunately, she died around 7 years ago and my grandad died 15 years ago. It’s awfully sad that I cannot remember him, but there are also no photos of us together. My sister just had a baby last year and he obviously never met my great nan or my grandad.
